Iain Smith, General Manager
Iain Smith has a B.Sc. (Hons) degree from the University of Liverpool in Geophysics with Geology, and a M.Sc. degree in Petroleum Geology with Geophysics from Imperial College, London. He has a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from the University of Western Australia. Iain has worked within the petroleum industry for some 28 years, within Australia and overseas.
He has a broad range of experience within the industry, both onshore and offshore, and has previously worked in commercial and general management roles for a number of Australian exploration companies, including Neon Energy Ltd and Woodside Petroleum Ltd. Iain lives in Perth, Western Australia.
Dr Xingjin Wang, Technical Director
Xingjin Wang is a petroleum geologist and petroleum engineer with nearly 30 years’ experience both in Australia and overseas. He has a BSc and MSc in Petroleum Geology, a ME in Petroleum Engineering from UNSW and a PhD in Applied Geology at UNSW.
Xingjin worked for RISC in the Perth office from 2004 to 2005. In that capacity he undertook projects for Chevron on Barrow Island and for Roc Oil in the Perth Basin. He also has extensive experience in Queensland.
He was senior petroleum engineer in Mosaic Oil looking after more than 40 production wells in the Surat Basin, and also spent several years as General Manager (Engineering) in Arrow Energy, responsible for the production and reserve management for assets in Bowen and Surat Basins.
Xingjin was a consultant to Strike Energy, responsible for well design for their CSG wells in the Cooper Basin, and he is currently a consultant to Real Energy responsible for programming exploration in the Eromanga Basin.
Wilson Xue, Managing Director
Wilson Xue is an experienced business developer with in-depth knowledge in business development in various business fields and international business management. Wilson has more than 25 years’ experience in senior management positions including marketing, business start-up and business funding.
Wilson started Fu Qing Feng Sheng Shoes Co Ltd in 1993 and remains closely associated with it to the present day. Wilson had pursued business in footwear wholesale and retail in Australia from 1997 to now with 25 retail outlets and a successful wholesale profile.
Wilson also has interests in mining, forestry, solar power and resort hotels.
